NEW ORLEANS, La. (WDSU)- The New Orleans Saints are expected to be without two valuable players when they take the field for a huge playoff game Sunday evening in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Katherine Terrell with The Athletic reports Taysom Hill will miss the game after suffering a knee injury in the Saints win last week versus the Chicago Bears.

Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network followed up on Terrell’s report with more bad news. Rapoport reports running back Latavius Murray is also expected to miss the game due to a quadriceps injury.

Both Hill and Murray missed practice all week dealing with injury.

The Saints and Buccaneers kickoff at 5:40pm. The Black and Gold are 2-0 this season against Tom Brady and the Bucs and currently the Las Vegas odds makers have New Orleans favored by 4 1/2 points.
