BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The LSU Women’s Basketball SEC schedule was released on Wednesday as the reigning national championship will be looking to continue their momentum from a historic season.
Coach Kim Mulkey is entering his third season in Baton Rouge and has led LSU to back-to-back No. 2 finishes in the SEC. The Tigers will be kicking off conference play in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Jan. 4 against Missouri.
After LSU takes on Missouri to begin conference play, the Tigers will have their first road test on the season against Ole Miss on Jan. 7. LSU will conclude the first week of conference play facing off against Texas A&M on Jan. 11.
LSU will have back-to-back road tests in the state of Alabama when they face off against Auburn of Jan. 14 and Alabama on Jan. 18.
The most notable conference game of the year will be when South Carolina comes to the PMAC on Jan. 25. South Carolina got the best of LSU in the last matchup, 88-64.
