BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Jaguars are set to face Lincoln University CA in its next matchup Saturday, Oct. 14.

Southern fell to Florida A&M last Saturday, 26-19. The university’s athletics department said quarterback Harold Blood completed eleven of the nineteen passes thrown. Head coach Eric Dooley said he thought it was a “hard fought” game.

He added that it was a defensive battle and addressed special teams’ performance, saying mistakes will be corrected.

This weekend’s matchup is Southern’s homecoming game. Dooley expects Lincoln University CA to play hard. He wants the whole team to improve ahead of this matchup and be prepared to play.
