CINCINNATI, OHIO (BRPROUD) — Former LSU football player, Joe Burrow delved into an ongoing debate between fans of the Tigers and Ohio State Buckeyes. Who gets to claim him as their own? The current quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals addressed the question during a news conference on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Burrow was asked whether Ohio State claims him as a quarterback in the NFL. He said, “I don’t know, you have to ask them.” He then said, “I always say I went to school at Ohio State and I played football at LSU, that’s how I think about it.”

Burrow’s current team sits at 5-3 with a a game against another former Ohio State quarterback on Sunday, Nov. 12. Cincinnati is hosting the Houston Texans who are led by C. J. Stroud.

Burrow spent two years at LSU and led the Tigers to the national championship in 2019. He was taken No. 1 overall by the Bengals in the 2020 NFL Draft.
