Animal shelter runs low on supplies after robbery, receives several in kind donations

BATON ROUGE, La. (NBC LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) – Support and donations continue to pour in for a local animal shelter in Point Coupee. Monday, two businesses teamed up to help the local animal shelter that was burglarized last week.

Together, All My Sons Moving & Storage, as well as the Camp Bow Wow of Baton Rouge, held a drive in support of Pointe Coupee Animal Shelter.

The owner of the shelter, Carol Vincent, says that the shelter is in need of supplies and donations year round. If you or your organization would like to help, a supply list has been posted below.

Those items include:
Alcohol
Peroxide
Neosporin
Anti-diarrhea medication
Allergy medication
Bandages
Tape
Blue-Kote
Treats
Dog food (Pedigree and Retriever Small Bites)
