BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD)- The verdict is in. Former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, has been convicted for the murder of George Floyd.

The killing of George Floyd caught the attention of many around the world, initiated countless protests and marches against police brutality and the fight for social justice.

Some celebrities and social activists took to their personal social media accounts and reacted to the guilty verdict of Chauvin.
