Hammond Nursing Home announced Tuesday that they transformed into a romantic wedding venue for 64-year-old Clarence Bright and 51-year-old Joyce Smart.Advertisement

The nuptials took place Friday at the nursing facility and marked the union of the couple after a two-year relationship.

The nursing home said the pair met in the facility’s day room and with the help of a little matchmaking in 2017, the happy couple has been inseparable ever since.

Thanks to the experienced therapists at the facility and Smart’s perseverance, the nursing home said she was able to regain independence and return home, shortly followed by Bright.

The care center said the newlyweds now reside in Tickfaw and are forever grateful to the facility for bringing them together.
