Friday Morning Forecast for Baton Rouge 10-27-23
Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your forecast. Happy Friday everyone. We've made it to the end of another work week. High pressure over our area helped us to have continuous warm and mostly dry weather for the last few days. A stray shower or two is possible for today, but not likely. Rain chances are only around 10%. These same conditions will continue into the weekend. Highs will be in the upper 80s for Saturday and Sunday. Patchy fog will likely be present for Saturday and Sunday mornings. A cold front will move through on Monday. Highs will only be in the upper 70s to low 80s on that day and then it will get a bit chilly for Halloween. Highs will be in the low 60s on Halloween and on the first day of November. It'll also be breezy on Halloween with northerly winds so that will help it feel cooler too. Mornings lows will be in the upper 40s on Halloween morning and possibly getting into the upper 30s to low 40s on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. With that being said, gumbo weather is back next week! Highs will be closer to 70 at the end of next week, but it will be nice and pleasant. Rainfall estimates are still very low for the next 7 days. We desperately need more rain and a few showers are possible with the cold front moving through early next week, but we won't be getting enough rain to alleviate the drought we're still dealing with. Stay hydrated this weekend with plenty of water and get ready to pull our your Fall gear next week. Have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!
