Friday Morning Forecast for Baton Rouge 11-10-23
It's exciting to say that rain is on the way! A cold front pushing south through our area will stall (stationary front) near our area and bring light shower activity for today and tomorrow. Showers will be on and off for today and Saturday. Showers should clear most of our area around Saturday evening. Rain chances are lower for Sunday. Another round of showers is expected for early next week as an area of low pressure sets up in the Gulf. If the area of low pressure remains closer to us, we could receive higher amounts of rain. If it stays farther south of us, then we'll have lower rainfall amounts. It's a tricky forecast because it depends on where exactly this area of low pressure will be in proximity to our area. Either way, rain gear is needed for today through at least Wednesday. Rain chances will decrease around the middle to end of next week. Thanks for watching.
