Monday Morning Forecast 10-16-23
Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your forecast. It's a gorgeous, cool morning here in Baton Rouge and the rest of the day will continue looking beautiful. Today will be sunny and highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s. It'll also be a little breezy with winds out the NNW direction around 5-15 mph. Overnight lows will be in the 40s and low 50s across south MS and SE LA. Warmer weather will be returning this week. Highs will be in the mid 70s for tomorrow and in the upper 70s to low 80s for Wednesday through this weekend. Southerly wind flow later this week will bring in warmer air and more moisture. Drier air is giving us this comfortable feeling weather, but an increase in moisture will help it be a little more humid this week. But you won't really be able to feel it as dew points will still be low enough. The next cold front will move in sometime late Thursday into Friday morning. Not much rain is expected with the next front moving in. If any rain occurs, it'll be around Thursday evening & Friday morning as the front is passing through. Drier air will move in behind the front, but temps will remain mild for the weekend. Highs will still be in the low 80s for Saturday and Sunday. Thanks for watching. Have a magnificent Monday!
