Monday Morning Forecast for Baton Rouge 10-23-23
Happy Monday everyone. Hopefully your weekend went well. We had warm weather for this weekend and that will continue for today and the rest of this week. A dense fog advisory is in effect until 10am. Commuters should of course slow down and use their low beams if they encounter areas of dense fog. The fog will clear out by late morning. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s and overnight lows will be in the mid 60s. Warm and dry weather will last throughout this week due to a ridge of high pressure over our area. This will also allow E/SE wind flow to continue this week. Winds out this direction will bring in warm air and more moisture. The increase in humidity won't be unbearable, but it will be a little muggy this week. Little to no rainfall is expected this week. Unfortunately, the extreme and exceptional drought levels covering Louisiana and south Mississippi won't be alleviated anytime too soon. With high pressure in place giving us warm and dry weather, you won't need rain gear, sweaters or jackets this week. This is the last full week of October, but it'll be feeling a little like summer. Thanks for watching. Have a magnificent Monday!
