Monday Morning Forecast for Baton Rouge 11-6-23
Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your forecast. Happy Monday everyone. A dense fog advisory is in effect for the southwest Louisiana parishes until 9 am. Patchy fog is possible for the greater Baton Rouge area, but mainly for areas west of the MS river/Atchafalaya Basin. Today will be another warm day with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 80s. High temps will stay above normal for most of this week. A cold front will likely move in on Friday and showers are expected for the end of the week too. There's a 20% chance of showers for Thursday and rain chances will be a little higher for Thursday night. There's a 40% chance of showers for Friday. After the cold front moves out, we'll have a slight cool down going into the weekend. Drier air will return which will help lower the humidity. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s range for Friday through Sunday. Until then, it will be warm and humid for most of this week. Thanks for watching. Have a magnificent Monday!
