Thursday Morning Forecast for Baton Rouge 10-19-23
CORRECTION: The Southern vs. Bethune-Cookman game is at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, FL this Saturday...not at Bethune's home stadium.
Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your forecast. We have beautiful weather to start our Thursday, but cloud cover will increase some throughout today and rain is possible for this afternoon. There's a 20% chance of showers. Highs will be in the low 80s. Southerly wind flow over the last day or two has brought in warmer air and more moisture. It wasn't feeling that humid on Wednesday, but it will feel a little more humid today. A couple of isolated showers could develop for this afternoon and possibly still linger into the early evening hours. A cold front will move through late tonight and overnight into Friday morning. This will be a weak cold front moving in. It won't have much of an impact on our temperatures. Warmer weather will stick around with highs remaining in the mid to upper 80s for tomorrow through next week. But with WNW winds bringing in drier air behind this front, that will help to lower dew points and humidity a little over the next couple of days. The next few days will be warm and feeling a little like summer, but it won't be muggy since the humidity won't be that high for it to feel that way. Thanks for watching. Have a triumphant Thursday!
