Thursday Morning Forecast for Baton Rouge 10-5-23
Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your forecast. As you're stepping out the door this morning, you'll immediately feel how humid it is this morning. It's more humid this morning than the last few mornings due to an increase in moisture. SE wind flow has helped bring in more moisture. It's foggy this morning, but that'll gradually clear out. Today will be partly to mostly cloudy and highs will be in the upper 80s to low 90s. A couple of showers are possible before the morning is over, but the main time frame for showers and thunderstorms is this afternoon and evening. There's a 30% chance for today and a 40% chance for tonight. Pre-frontal showers will pass through later today and then another round of showers will move through with the cold front. A second cold front will move through early tomorrow morning. Any additional showers should be out of our area tomorrow morning. Cooler and drier air will continue filtering in for tomorrow through early next week. Highs will be near 80 for the weekend and morning lows will be in the low to mid 50s for Sunday through Tuesday mornings. Very pleasant feeling weather will be here soon. Thanks for watching.
