Tuesday Morning Forecast for Baton Rouge 10-31-23
Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your 6:15am forecast. Happy Halloween everyone! It's a chilly morning and the rest of today will be pretty cold. Highs will only be in the 50s for today. Cloudy skies and cool breezes will help it feel cooler. The low humidity, breezy winds and drought conditions will contribute to an elevated fire risk for today. A red flag warning will go into effect at 10am and expire at 7 pm. Light showers moved through Baton Rouge earlier this morning and a little more rain is possible today. However, all the rain should be cleared out before you head out this evening for trick-or-treating. Temps will still be in the 50s this evening. Overnight lows will be in the 30s and possibly in the upper 20s too for our northern towns. A freeze warning will be in effect from 4am until 8am for Amite, Wilkinson, Pike and Walthall counties in SW MS. Don't forget to protect your pets, plants and pipes. Wednesday will be another cool day, but we'll have more sunshine. Warmer weather returns at the end of the week and Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend. Thanks for watching. Have a terrific Tuesday!
