Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your 6:45am forecast. Good morning and happy November 1st. It's a chilly morning with temps currently in the 30s and 40s. Counties in SW MS are currently under a freeze warning until 8am. Highs will be in the upper 50s to low 60s and we'll have plenty of sunshine! It will be a beautiful, but cold day. Breezy winds, very low humidity and drought conditions will contribute to an elevated fire risk once again. A red flag warning will be in effect from 10am until 7pm. Overnight lows will be near freezing and some of our northern towns could have below freezing temps. A freeze warning will be in effect from 1am until 8am Thursday morning. East & West Feliciana parishes, northern Tangipahoa parish, Amite, Wilkinson, Pike and Walthall counties (MS) will be under the freeze warning. Warmer air will slowly works its way to our area once again over the next few days. Thursday will still be a little cool with highs in the upper 60s, but highs will be in the mid 70s on Friday and in the low 80s for this weekend and early next week. Not much rain is expected within the next 7 days. Stay warm and bundle up! But you won't need those sweaters and coats this weekend. Thanks for watching. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
