Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your 6:15 am forecast. Very light showers were still moving through the north shore this morning, but we're mostly here in the Greater Baton Rouge area. We had a nice, steady rain that lasted throughout Tuesday and continued overnight. Another round of light showers could move through the area today and tonight. Most of the rain is already southeast of us as the Gulf low is pulling farther away from our area. Thursday through this weekend will be warmer and drier days. Highs will be near 70 for Thursday and in the low to mid 70s for Friday through Monday. A weak cold front will move through this weekend, but not much rain is expected with this system. Another cold front will pass through early next week and that will bring showers back to our area. We're still a few days away, but we'll of course keep monitoring this system as we get closer to that time frame. Thanks for watching. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
