Wednesday Morning Forecast for Baton Rouge 11-8-23
Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your 7:45 am forecast. Patchy fog is clearing up around our area this morning. A dense fog advisory is still in effect until 10 am. The main area of concern though is near New Orleans east (Irish Bayou/Michoud). Fog was dense earlier this morning so I-10 at I-510 was closed earlier this morning. Patchy fog could develop again overnight. Fog will likely impact your morning commute especially during the very early morning hours. Today will be another warm and humid day. Highs will be in the mid 80s. Warm weather will continue for Thursday. Slightly cooler weather is on the way for Friday and this weekend. A cold front will move through on Friday, but the front could possibly stall near the coast over the weekend. If this occurs, rain could continue for Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances are highest for Friday (around 50%), but there's a 20% - 30% chance for the weekend. Rain chances are still in the forecast for early next week. Highs will be in the 70s for Friday through at least Tuesday. Thanks for watching. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
