Latest Baton Rouge Weather Forecast:
Today: Another cool and pleasant day is in store for us. It’s quite chilly this morning with current temps in the upper 30s and low 40s so don’t forget your coat before leaving home. Skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s. A weak cold front will pass through our area and that will bring in an additional round of cooler air.
Tonight: Skies will be mostly clear and overnight lows will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.
Wednesday: A beautiful day with mostly sunny skies, low humidity and highs will only be near 60.
Beyond: With high pressure still over our area, this will give us nice weather. We’ll have cool and dry weather with mostly sunny skies. Highs will be near 60. Cooler air will continue flowing in which will help temps to be a little lower for Wednesday and morning lows for Thursday will be pretty chilly. Lows will be in the 30s for Thursday morning.
By Thursday, high pressure moves east, and our winds become more southeasterly which will bring in more moisture and warmer temperatures. Afternoon highs will warm into the 70s by Friday out ahead of another frontal system. This front will bring showers and storms likely Saturday into Saturday night. Strong to severe storms are not out of the question, so keep tuned to the forecast throughout the week.
