Today: We are looking at a gorgeous start to the weekend. Skies will be mostly sunny throughout the day with temperatures reaching the low 80s. Dew points will remain low, so it will feel nice and comfortable. Winds will be light out of the northeast. High near 81.
Tonight: Skies will be mostly clear, which will lead to cool temperatures. Lows will drop into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Winds will be light out of the east-southeast. Low near 59.
Extended: Saturday will be even warmer, but it will still feel very comfortable outside. Skies will be mostly cloudy with cloud coverage increasing overnight. Expect a mix of sunshine and clouds on Sunday with highs in the mid 80s. There is a very slim chance for an isolated shower on Sunday, but rain would likely stay west of Baton Rouge. Monday will begin a stormy pattern with scattered storms throughout the day. It looks like we could be in for a multi-day rain event with scattered storms expected on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as well. High temperatures will be in the mid 80s.
