StormTracker Forecast…Light rain this morning due to a passing area of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico. Rain coverage will taper for the BRProud area through the morning. Best chance for rain will be east of I-55 and south of I-10 today. Otherwise, we can expect a mix of clouds and sun this afternoon with temperatures mainly topping out in the lower 60s. Jackets will be needed for any evening plans. Despite the lingering clouds, temperatures will still drop into the low and mid 40s.
Skies will be cloudy through Saturday morning before clouds gradual clear into the afternoon, which will limit our daytime heating. Overall, partly to mostly cloudy by the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 50s to around 60°F. An isolated shower cannot be ruled out as an upper-level disturbance passes through the region. If you’ll be up and early on Sunday, it will be a cold start in the upper 30s to lower 40s, but we will warm up nicely into the upper 60s by the afternoon. Sunday will be the better day of the weekend as we can expect plentiful sunshine, which is great news for any Super Bowl Sunday parties.
