Today: Scattered to numerous showers and storms are expected in the area. These storms may be slow moving and will have the potential to produce downpours, gusty wind, and lightning. Rain chance is around 70%. High temperatures will be in the low and mid 80s. Overnight temperatures near 70°F.
Weekend: An upper-level low will be slowly moving across Texas this weekend and this will aide in shower and storm development. Heavy rain will be our main concern. Rain chances currently sit around 70% on Saturday before ramping up to around 80% on Sunday. Rain will be off and on this weekend. A Flash Flood Watch may be issued ahead of the heavy rain threat over the weekend. Highs will be in the lower 80s, but some may only warm into the 70s if storms develop early enough.
Monday-Wednesday: High rain chances continue through midweek. Highs will be in the mid 80s.
Thursday: Rain chances finally start to drop a little bit, but it won’t totally be dry. Highs in the mid and upper 80s.
