Today: Get ready for scattered showers and possible storms in the afternoon and cloudy skies otherwise. Then, in the evening, a line of storms will cross the state ahead of a cold, which will bring in a much needed cooldown. Winds will be southerly at 5-10 mph. High near 83.
Tonight: Thunderstorms will continue early in the night, and after that, we briefly dry out with cloudy skies overhead. Temperatures will decline into the mid 60s, and winds will be northeasterly at 5-10 mph. Low near 64.
Extended: This will be a great weekend to stay indoors as the weekend will be filled with showers. Temperatures will fall into the 70s, and for the first time in a while, our temperatures will be seasonable. We’ll see showers throughout the day and even overnight. Sunday will be a little warmer with highs in the upper 70s, and again, we’ll see showers and possibly thunderstorms during the day. We start the workweek off mostly dry, and our temperatures return to the 80s. Highs on Wednesday and Thursday will be in the upper 80s, but we’ll finally see some sunshine.
