StormTracker Forecast…A cold front is headed our way, but cold weather lovers, don’t get too excited just yet! This cold front won’t bring major changes to our area, but it will bring slightly cooler air to the Capital City. Highs on Friday will be in the upper 70s and mid-60s on Saturday. First, we will have to deal with scattered showers during the morning and afternoon. Coverage will become isolated this evening. Overall, the rain chance is around 40% on Friday. Rainfall totals look to be quite low – less than 0.25″. If your lawn is needing a good soaker, there will be better chances for rain next week.
This weekend will be quiet and near-seasonal. Clouds will likely linger into Saturday and Sunday, but a few breaks can be expected here and there. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid-60s before temperatures warm into the upper 60s to lower 70s on Sunday.
Another system will enter the region next week. Rain chances on Monday are around 40% and highs will be nearing 80°F. Showers are likely Monday night and Tuesday. Temperatures will be dropping, as well. By Wednesday, high temperatures will be back in the 50s and lows will be in the 30s and 40s. We will keep you posted as we fine-tune the forecast in the coming days.
