Tonight: Spotty showers are possible this evening. Then, a narrow band of showers will pass late tonight along and ahead of a cold front. The line will likely enter our northwestern areas after 9 pm, the Baton Rouge area after 11 pm, and southeastern areas after midnight – Give or take an hour or so. Some areas may not see rain at all as this line is expected to weaken as it moves southeast. Morning temperatures will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Saturday: Cold front will be east of our area by morning. Saturday will be lovely with dropping humidity, clearing skies, and brisk north winds. If you’re going to the game, you will want to wear a wind breaker, long sleeves, or a sweater. Highs will only be in the low and mid 70s. Evening temperatures will be in the 60s then 50s. Overnight temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Sunday: A cool and crisp autumn morning in the 40s and 50s. We have a beautiful Sunday on tap with low humidity, plenty of sunshine, and dry conditions. Highs will be in the lower and mid 70s. Overnight temperatures will be in the lower 50s.
Next Week: Still pleasant on Monday, but humidity and temperatures will begin to creep back up starting on Tuesday. Thankfully, it won’t be unbearable. Another front will likely move in late next week.
