Extended – Don’t plan on any major issues for Mother’s Day weekend. We’ll stay mostly sunny and dry. Temperatures will sit around normal or slightly above. Showers and storms return Sunday night. Expect a wet pattern with multiple rounds of rain for next week. It starts Monday with the threat for heavy rain and strong thunderstorms. Portions of the viewing area sit under a Marginal Risk [level 1 of 5] for severe weather by Monday morning. Rain remains likely for Tuesday and Wednesday. Rain will be heavy at times. Once again, we’ll have the risk for flash flooding as rain totals will likely add up over the 3-4 day stretch. Stay weather aware.
