Tonight: Showers should begin to taper this evening, but there may be an isolated shower or two overnight. Some areas of patchy fog by morning. Morning low near 70.
Saturday: Scattered showers and storms are likely. Best chance for rain will be during the afternoon, which means tailgating could be wet at times. Most rain in the area should begin to fade closer to sunset, but there may still be some showers in Southeast Louisiana after dark. Bring the rain jacket or poncho to the game, just in case. Otherwise, we’ll see partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies with highs in the low and mid 80s.
Sunday: Even higher rain chances arrive on Sunday ahead of an approaching cold front. Scattered to numerous showers and storms are likely. Heavy rain will be possible at times. Highs will be in the low and mid 80s.
Next Week: Scattered rain on Monday and then spotty rain on Tuesday. Drier air will move in behind a cold front. Some models suggest clouds may be around even after the front passes. Either way, it won’t be as humid. Highs are expected to be in the lower 80s and mornings in the lower 60s by Wednesday and lasting a couple of days.
