Tonight: Mainly clear and chilly overnight. Morning temperatures will be in the low and mid 40s. Some spots north and east of Baton Rouge may even drop into the upper 30s.
Saturday: Mostly sunny and mild with highs will be in the low and mid 70s. Clouds will return late Saturday night and early Sunday. Overnight temperatures in the mid 50s.
Sunday: Partly sunny and warmer on Sunday. Highs will top out in the mid 70s. A line of showers and possible a storm or two will move in Sunday night with another cold front. Overnight temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s.
Monday: Cold front will pass, but we may have some showers early Monday morning. Highs will be in the low and mid 60s. Overnight temperatures will drop into the mid and upper 30s.
Tuesday: We may have a frosty start to the day. It will be sunny and cool with highs only in the lower 60s. Overnight lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Wednesday – Friday: Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day will be warmer in the lower 70s. Model guidance shows the possibility for some rain around late Thanksgiving, but more so on Black Friday and possibility into Saturday. Still a lot of unknown with this next system in terms of timing and intensity. We will have to monitor the potential very carefully. Stay tuned!
