Today: Cool weather has settled in since the cold front moved through and it will remain in place today. This morning a DENSE FOG ADVISORY is in effect until 9am for some of our parishes and counties, so watch for visibilities less than a quarter mile on your morning commute. The afternoon will be sunny with highs nearing 66 degrees. Tonight will be chilly, dropping back into the low-40s.

Tomorrow: High pressure gains influence in our region throughout the week leading to sunnier and warmer weather each day. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 70 degrees.

Wednesday-Friday: We’ll continue our warm up through Friday thanks to high pressure. Wednesday reach 73 before shooting to 77 on Friday. This will certainly be above average for this time of year. Friday night sees increasing clouds, with possible showers and changes as we head into the weekend.

Saturday-Sunday: Showers may return for the weekend with cooler temperatures as a cold front nears Louisiana.

Tracking the Tropics: No impacts to Baton Rouge expected.
