Today: A FREEZE WARNING remains in effect for areas around Baton Rouge and to the south until 10am due to subfreezing temperatures. The WARNING is upgraded to a HARD FREEZE WARNING for parishes and counties north of Baton Rouge. Keep the plants covered and keep the pets indoors. This afternoon we should near 50 degrees but it will still be a cold and brisk day. It will remain mostly sunny. Overnight lows will be near the freezing mark with some areas a few degrees below freezing.
Tomorrow: We stay cold tomorrow but should warm a little. Highs will be in the upper-50s with partly cloudy skies.
Wednesday: The warming trend continues on Wednesday with highs near 70 degrees. Dry weather remains with partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will also be much warmer, near 55 degrees.
Thursday: A cold front will push through Thursday limiting highs to the mid-60s and bringing a few showers with breezy conditions. Overnight drops into the mid-30s after the cold front.
Friday: It will be much colder due to the cold front on Thursday with highs Friday in the low-50s and mostly sunny skies.
Weekend: Warmer & wetter weather looks to move in for the weekend.
