Best chance for storms will be near and north of I-10/I-12 corridor. Highs will be in the mid and upper 80s, but it will feel like the 90s. Rain chance is around 50-60%.
Tonight: Evening storms, but rain coverage should taper as we head into the late night hours. Rain chance is around 30%. Low near 74.
Tuesday & Wednesday: Scattered showers and storms, mainly during the peak heating hours. Rain chance is around 50-60%. Highs will be near 90 and it will feel well into the 90s.
Thursday-Weekend: Rain chances finally start to drop a little bit as a ridge of high pressure begins to build. We will be more in a summer weather pattern with daily pop ups. Highs in the upper 80s to around 90. Rain chances will gradually increase into Sunday.
Tracking the Tropics: An area of low pressure may develop in the western Caribbean by the end of the week. Plenty of time to watch.
