StormTracker Forecast…Monday is starting off around 15° to 20° cooler than on Sunday morning thanks to a reinforcing cold front that passed on through. High pressure is building to our west, which will keep us clear and dry. Below-normal temperatures are expected at least for the next few days. Highs on Monday will be in the mid-50s. Gradual warming will occur starting on Tuesday. You won’t think so tomorrow morning because temperatures will be in the low and mid-30s. A light freeze is expected for areas mainly along and north of the I-10/I-12 corridor as temperatures drop at or below-freezing. Be sure to keep your pets warm and bring them inside. Also, bring the plants inside or cover them with a sheet. Areas south of I-10 will drop at or near-freezing, so frosty conditions are likely by morning.
High pressure will break down later this week, allowing for increased moisture to move in and for our next system to move in Thursday night and into Friday morning. A few strong storms may be possible. Until then, expected sun and clouds daily. We will keep you posted!
