Today: After a cooler day yesterday, our temperatures will return to the 80s today. Skies will start off mostly cloudy, but clouds will gradually decrease, making for partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. There is a slight chance for a passing shower in the afternoon, but for the most part, the day will be dry. Winds will be southwesterly at 5-10 mph. High near 83.
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies will continue overnight, and again, a stray shower cannot be ruled out. It will be a warm night with lows only in the mid 60s. Winds will be southerly at 5-10 mph. Low near 66.
Extended: Get ready to turn up the A/C as temperatures continue to rise. Highs will sit in the mid 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday, but on Thursday and Friday, highs will reach the upper 80s. Some areas could even reach 90, which is close to our March record. The good news is that the days will be mostly dry. A stray shower is possible on Tuesday and Tuesday night, but other than that, prepare for dry weather. A front will enter the region over the weekend, and this will raise the chance for precipitation. This front will also result in lower temperatures on Saturday and Sunday.
