Today: The afternoon will be mostly sunny and hot with highs near 90 degrees. Late afternoon into the evening a few storms could move in from northeast of here. We have a marginal (level 1 out of 5) risk for severe weather today. The threat is mainly for damaging winds and not large hail or tornadoes. Heavy downpours are possible, at times. Lows tonight will drop to 70 degrees with clearing skies.
Tomorrow: Tomorrow will be a sunny & hot day. Highs near 92 degrees. It should remain dry although our eastern parishes have a chance of seeing a stray storm in the evening.
Wednesday-Friday: The rest of the week will remain hot & sunny with sticky dewpoints near 70 degrees.
Weekend: Changes are ahead for the weekend. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected both Saturday and Sunday, bringing high temperatures back into the upper-80s.
