Today: Passing showers at times today thanks to Beta. Some rain could be on the moderate to heavy side. Rain chance is around 70%. Highs will be in the mid 70s. Breezy with wind out of the east between 10-20 mph with higher gusts. Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Wednesday evening. Coastal flooding will likely be an issue, as well – mainly during high tide Monday-Wednesday.

Tuesday & Wednesday: Passing showers at times today thanks to Beta. Some rain could be on the moderate to heavy side. The Weather Prediction Center has our area under a Moderate Risk (3 out of 4) for excessive rainfall on Tuesday. Rain chance is around 70%. Breezy at times. Highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Much more humid. Lows in the lower 70s.
Thursday: Partly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. Rain chance is around 60%. Highs in the mid 80s. Low near 70.
Friday & Weekend: Rain chances begin to taper as moisture exits the area. Highs in the mid and upper 80s with overnight temperatures in the 60s & 70s.
Extended: Cool front expected to move in Sunday and into Monday. This could knock our temperatures down into the lower 80s with overnight lows in the low 60s.
Tracking the Tropics: Teddy is forecast to accelerate to the north toward Nova Scotia. Post-tropical Cyclone Paulette could regenerate in the coming days in the open Atlantic. Beta will move near Texas coast and may even stall out before accelerating toward Louisiana in the coming days.
