Today: It’s a gloomy start to the workweek. Skies are cloudy this morning, and they’ll linger this afternoon. With extensive cloud cover, our temperatures will struggle to reach the mid 40s. Feels-like temperatures will only be in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Winds will be northerly at 10 mph. High near 45.
Tonight: Clouds will linger through midnight, but after that, skies will quickly clear. This will allow temperatures to rapidly drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s. A light freeze is possible. Remember to protect people, plants, pipes and of course, pets. Winds will be northerly at 5-10 mph. Low near 31.
Extended: As we head into the rest of the week, temperatures, both highs and lows, will gradually increase. We’ll return to the 50s tomorrow, and it will be a mostly sunny day. Skies will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 50s on Wednesday. On Thursday, we’ll finally return to the 60s, so we’ll go from below-average temperatures to above-average temperatures. Our next rain chance will be on Thursday night and Friday morning, but right now, it looks like rain will primarily be a coastal issue. Temperatures will briefly dip into the upper 50s on Saturday, but Sunday’s highs will rise back into the low 60s.
