Tuesday: A potent system will begin to move into the region. Heavy rain and severe weather will be possible – mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. There is an Enhanced and Slight Risk for severe weather on Tuesday. Damaging wind and heavy rain will be the main concerns, but large hail and tornadoes will also be possible. We will be mostly dry and breezy during the morning hours. Best chance for widespread storm activity will be during the afternoon and evening, but the slow-moving cold front may trigger some additional storms overnight. Highs near 87. Overnight temperature near 65.
Wednesday: Early storms before the cold front finally pushes offshore. Skies should gradually clear and highs will top out in the lower 80s. Overnight temperature near 61.
Thursday: We finally start to dry out and clear out. High will be near 82, but it will be more comfortable thanks to drier air in place. Overnight temperature near 57.
Friday & Weekend: Nice and comfy on Friday and Saturday before it gradually gets warmer and more humid. Highs in the low and mid 80s. Overnight temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Only a slight chance for rain on Mother’s Day.
