Today: Strong heat that made itself known over Mother’s Day weekend will stay in place this week. Today highs will be near 92 degrees with the heat index near 98 degrees thanks to elevated dewpoints in the low-70s. Mostly sunny skies in the afternoon are followed by mostly clear skies tonight with overnight lows in the low-70s.

Tomorrow: More heat for tomorrow. It is almost a copy and paste forecast from Monday. Sunny skies stay in place with highs in the low-90s and overnight lows in the low-70s. Thankfully, the dewpoint will drop back into the mid-60s. This means the heat index won’t be as strong as it is on Monday.

Wednesday-Friday: More strong heat as we end the week. Each day will reach the low-90s with overnight lows in the low-70s. We keep sunny skies in the picture on Wednesday and Thursday, but more cloud cover on Friday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible on Friday.

Weekend: More isolated to spotty showers are possible over the weekend. Despite the rain chance, the heat stays strong. Highs will reach 90 on both Saturday and Sunday.
