Today & Tonight: Clouds return to the area after a beautiful sunny Sunday. Afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 60s to around 70. A stray shower or two will be possible late this afternoon or and evening before rain chances increase late tonight/overnight. Rain chance during the day is 10-20%. Rain chance tonight is 40%. Overnight temperatures will be in the low and mid 50s.
Tuesday: A few morning showers will be around. Otherwise, partly to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures warming into the low and mid 70s by the afternoon. Rain chance is around 20%. Overnight temperature near 57.
Wednesday: Even warmer and cloudy with highs in the mid and upper 70s. Rain chances increase to around 40%. Overnight temperature near 62. Areas of fog overnight.
Thursday: A cold front will begin to push through the area. Rain chance is around 70%. Highs in the low and mid 70s. Overnight temperature near 48 for now.
Friday: Mostly cloudy with highs in the mid and upper 50s. Rain chance is around 30%. Overnight temperature near 40 for now. Arctic air will be spilling to the south. We will have to see how far south and how cold it will be. There is low confidence in the forecast past Thursday. Stay tuned for changes.
Weekend: Rain chances are around 20% for now. Again, we will have to fine-tune the forecast as the weekend nears. Models are disagreeing on how far south the cold air will be and if there will be any precipitation with it. For now, we are forecasting highs in the lower 50s on Saturday and 40s on Sunday.
