Today: We’re starting the morning with scattered showers across south Louisiana. Rain is on the light side, but at times, there could be storms and pockets of heavy rain. Severe weather is not expected, and any storms that we get would be weak. Still, make sure to stay weather aware. Winds will be out of the southeast a 10-15 mph. High near 82.
Tonight: There is some disagreement on tonight’s weather, but some models are picking up on a line of storms moving through southeast Louisiana shortly before midnight. After that, skies will be mostly cloudy with low in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Winds will be southeasterly at 5-10 mph. Low near 69.
Extended: Tomorrow will be another stormy day with showers and storms beginning close to sunrise. High will be in the low to mid 80s, so it will be warm and humid again. The unsettled pattern will continue throughout much of the week, leading to a daily rain chance. The weekend does look to be mainly dry, but there will still be slight rain chances. Highs throughout the week will be in the low to mid 80s with the warmest temperatures over the weekend. Lows will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
