Weekend: We will be watching Invest 92L all week and into the weekend. Model guidance brings it to the northern Gulf Coast this weekend as a possible tropical depression or tropical storm. There is a good chance that it will be a sloppy and lopsided system – this would mean the heaviest rain would be well-east of the center. Whether it develops or not, it will likely bring heavy rain and possibly coastal flooding to the northern Gulf Coast. Stay tuned. For now, we are forecasting around a 60% chance for rain both Saturday and Sunday.
