Today: Expect another day with above average temperatures. Highs will rise up into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Skies will be mostly cloudy, but at times, we’ll see a little bit of sunshine. Winds will be easterly at 5-10 mph. High near 81.
Tonight: The warm day will be followed by a warm night. Lows will drop into the mid 60s. Expect a few early showers tonight. These showers will be scattered, so it will not be a washout. After midnight, we’ll dry out with cloudy skies and a few areas of fog. Winds will be light. Low near 64.
Extended: The trend over the past few days has been very warm temperatures. Highs have been in the 80s, which is about 10 degrees above average. Over the coming days, this trend will continue. Low temperatures will also be above average with temperatures in the 60s. There is a chance for showers everyday over the upcoming seven days, but the best chances for precipitation will be on St. Patrick’s Day, the first day of spring and Friday. A cold front will move into the area over the weekend, and this will result in a dramatic decrease in temperatures. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will only be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
