Tonight: Showers and storms are likely this evening and tonight as a cool front nears the area. Some storms may briefly turn severe and produce gusty wind this evening. Heavy rain will be a threat, as well. Most rain will likely come to an end by daybreak.
Tuesday: Cool front will finally clear the area, but lingering showers will continue to be possible through at least midday. Gradual clearing during the day. Highs in the mid 70s. Overnight temperatures in the low and mid 50s.
Wednesday – Friday: Less humid and nicer. We’ll stay dry and sunny. Highs near 80 degrees on Wednesday and then mid 80s as we wrap up the workweek. Overnight temperatures will be in the 50s for most of the week.
Weekend: We crank up the heat and humidity this weekend, which will be something to keep in mind if you’re headed down to Jazz Fest. Highs will be in the upper 80s but it will feel warmer. Spotty rain possible, but most areas will likely stay dry. This forecast can change. As of now, best chance for rain will come on Sunday.
