Tonight: The National Weather Service has placed us under a freeze warning. Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s and lower 30s tonight, so a light freeze is possible. With winds factored in, temperatures will feel even colder. Make sure to protect people, pets, plants and pipes over the next two nights. Winds will be northerly at 5-10 mph. Low near 30.
Tomorrow: Tuesday will be yet another chilly day with highs almost 10 degrees below average. Highs will only rise into the upper 40s and lower 50s, but the day will be filled with plenty of sunshine. Winds will be northerly at 5-10 mph. High near 52.
Extended: Lows on Tuesday night will be near freezing, so a light frost or light freeze will be possible. Fortunately, Wednesday’s temperatures will be slightly warmer. A low pressure system will approach the area late on Wednesday, and we are expecting our next chance for rain on Wednesday night. Rain will continue on Thursday, and we could see thunderstorms and heavy rain. The good news is that temperatures will return to the 60s on Thursday, and the weekend looks to be dry.
