Tonight – Unseasonably warm and muggy. Increasing clouds. Lows near 74.
Tomorrow – Cloud build. Late day showers and thunderstorms. Severe weather possible. Highs near 87.
Extended – Here we go again. We’ve got another round of potential severe weather for Tuesday evening. Expect storms to develop after 3:00 pm. The main window will be between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm. We currently sit under an Enhanced Risk [3 of 5] for severe weather. All types of severe weather are possible: damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes. We’ve also got the risk for heavy rain and possible flash flooding. Rain estimates sit in the 1-3″ range.
A few showers will linger into early Wednesday. Otherwise, we’ll see a much drier pattern starting Wednesday night. Skies will clear and temperatures will become more seasonable. Daytime highs will sit in the lower 80s with overnight lows in the 60s.
Temperatures climb by Mother’s Day. Highs will reach the upper 80s. We’ll stay mainly dry.
