Tonight: The night will be mostly dry after midnight. Before then, there could be a few brief showers and storms. Skies will be partly cloudy with temperatures dropping into the mid 70s. Winds will be light out of the southwest. Low near 74.
Tomorrow: It will be another hot and swampy day. Temperatures will rise into the low 90s, but heat indices will reach the 100s. Skies will be partly cloudy for most the day, but there is the chance for isolated storms in the afternoon. Winds will be light out of the south. High near 93.
Extended: The summery pattern will continue over the entire week. Highs will be in the low to mid 90s with heat indices in the 100s every day. Spotty storms cannot be ruled out, but no day will be a washout.
Tracking the Tropics: We are keeping an eye on a disturbance east of the Lesser Antilles that has a high chance of formation. It is unclear where the system will track, but it could form over the next few days, producing heavy rain and gusty winds.
