Tuesday-Thursday: A disturbance, as well as a surge of Gulf moisture, will lead to scattered to numerous showers and storms each day. Rain chances for now are around 60-80%. Highs will be in the mid 80s. Mornings in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Friday: Only spotty rain chances with a mix of clouds and sun. Highs near 85.
Weekend: Spotty showers, but most areas are expected to stay dry and warm. Highs in the mid 80s. Mornings in the 60s.
Tracking the Tropics: Sam is forecast to curve to the northwest and then stay out to sea, all while holding its major hurricane status. It currently does not appear to be a threat to the United States. The remnants of Peter could redevelop in a few days. There are back-to-back waves that will need to be watched down the road. No threats to the Gulf of Mexico for now. Next names on the list are Victor and Wanda.
