Wednesday & Thursday: It won’t be as stormy Wednesday and Thursday. Also, it won’t be as humid. Afternoons will still be hot in the lower 90s. Rain chance is around 20-30%. Morning temperatures will be near 70°F.
Friday-Sunday: Scattered showers and storms at times with highs in the lower 90s.
Tracking the Tropics: It’s August, which means the tropics will begin coming alive again, especially with a pattern flip that will make the Atlantic more conducive for tropical development. The National Hurricane Center is monitoring a disturbance near the Cabo Verde islands. It currently has a low chance of development, but that will likely change in the coming days.
