Tonight: A shower or two will be possible. Otherwise, mostly cloudy with lows in the low and mid 70s. Some patchy fog will be possible for your commute.

Tuesday: Scattered showers and isolated storms are possible mainly by the mid-morning hours and lasting until the early evening. It’s not going to rain all day long – There will be plenty of dry time in the mix. Otherwise, it’s going to be mostly cloudy with highs in the mid and upper 80s. 

Wednesday – Friday: Rain chances will begin to come back up as another system moves into the region. Best chance for widespread rain looks to be Thursday and Friday. For now, we will keep rain chance around 60 to 70 percent, but expect some changes to the forecast. Rain will continue to keep high temperatures in the 80s. 

Weekend: It’s still a bit early to determine whether some drier air will move into the region on Saturday or Sunday. For now, we will keep rain chances around 50 to 60 percent on Saturday and 40 percent on Sunday. Seven-day rain totals may stay under two inches for most areas, but some neighborhoods could see more.  

Tracking the Tropics: Danielle is a hurricane in the open Atlantic. Additionally, Earl is forecast to become a major hurricane this week. Neither storms will impact the United States, but Earl may impact Bermuda.
