Tuesday: Slightly lower rain chances with highs in the mid 90s, but it will feel like the 100s again. Be sure to stay cool and hydrated! Rain chance is only around 20-30%. A Heat Advisory is in place from 10 AM to 7 PM for heat indices up to 109°.
Wednesday & Thursday: A front will eventually stall out to our north. Also, a passing disturbance in the Gulf will lead to scattered to possibly numerous shower and storm development – mainly during the afternoon and early evening hours. Highs will be in the mid 90s.
Friday: Scattered showers and storms with highs in the mid 90s.
Weekend: Spotty showers and storms will be around. Highs will be in the mid 90s.
Tracking the Tropics: Invest 90L has been battling a hostile environment and the NHC has given it a lower chance of development. Other than that, there are no major concerns for tropical development expected over next 5 days.
